This series started with a feeling.

As someone who proudly calls herself a little “vintage,” I’ve spent my life benefiting from the sacrifices of those who came before me—my grandfather, father, stepfather, and father-in-law all served our country.

Their sacrifice gave me freedoms I often don’t stop long enough to fully appreciate.

As our country approaches its 250th birthday, I found myself wanting to create work that reflects both patriotism and complexity—something beautiful, layered, imperfect, strong, and full of story.

Because isn’t that what America is?

More behind-the-scenes soon. ❤️🤍💙

A little studio update because I’ve been quietly working on several things behind the scenes lately…

First, I’m creating a small collection that will be available online by the end of June, and I can’t wait to share it with you. Little hint… 🇺🇸❤️ they’re patriotic and full of meaning.

I’ve also been working on another collection that has slowly evolved over time in ways I didn’t expect. It feels like it might want to become something bigger… maybe even an exhibit? Still dreaming on that one.

And for my coastal art lovers—new beachy pieces are on their way to ! If you’re visiting 30A this summer, add this happy little gallery to your shopping list. It truly feels like joy the minute you walk in.

Something meaningful has been unfolding in my studio lately. 🇺🇸

A new series… layered with texture, memory, symbolism, and story.

This collection feels especially personal to me—reflecting both where we are as a country and what it means to rebuild, reconnect, and come together.

For now, I’ll just say this: there will be paint, texture, tearing apart, and weaving back together.

More soon.

I’ve been spending less time in the studio lately because I’ve been busy being Grammy, but in the time I do have, I’ve enjoyed repurposing, reinventing, and exploring new creative directions—reimagining materials in fresh ways.

Paint. Texture. Layers. Tearing things apart.

And weaving them back together.

This new body of work feels especially meaningful as we approach America’s 250th celebration—full of symbolism, story, and heart.

If you know me, you know I love layers and meaning in my art… and this collection may be one of the most personal I’ve created.

I’m not ready to reveal the finished pieces just yet 😉 but I’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes over the next few weeks.

Tell me… what do you think I’m creating?
