Panashe was a member of the Chorale when they went to Carnegie Hall and was also in the MU orchestra. I made sure to stop and look at our picture from Carnegie to see her smiling back. It is an incredible shock for someone so young to pass so suddenly. She leaves behind a newborn and her husband, Davion, whom she met while attending Methodist.
As I have always said, "What happens to one of us, happens to all of us." The Orchestra and MU communities have lost a great light. Please join me in thoughtful reflection. You are welcome to help her family through the link below:
