CONGRATULATIONS!!!💫🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊

Our class consisted of 4 HIGHLY motivated students that arrived eager to learn, which made our class run extremely smooth.🙌🏾

Each class brings a different perspective as gun laws change and unfortunately more gun violence incidents occur daily. We’ve discussed the fact that having a CCH permit actually holds you to a higher standard because you’re expected to be both Knowledgeable and Competent with your firearm. Carrying a handgun is one thing, knowing how to make a decision on how to handle a situation is another. Every situation doesn’t require the use of a firearm. However, some situations do and that is why you stay prepared for any situation that may arise.💯

USCCA + ABR Academy course at 5.11 Tactical Fayetteville instructed by yours truly.✨

Class was held on Thursday June 18, 2026 which fell the day prior to the Juneteenth Holiday. Grant and I were thankful to the two Gentlemen that did attend class considering the holiday.✨

Class Topic: Travel Safety Awareness Readiness & Protection.

Here are a few things to consider prior to heading out on your next trip.

- General Road Safety Tips (Plan Ahead, check the forecast, if driving, will there be any construction work along your route?)

- Traveling With Self-Defense Tools ( Download the USCCA app /Reciprocity Map. Know the laws prior to your trip).

- Situational Awareness (Keep your head on a swivel and be aware of your surroundings at all times).

- De-escalation of Road Rage (If a person doesn’t hit your car or run you off the road, simply control your emotions and continue on your path). Be aware; however, try not to get caught up in an argument that’s how most road rage incidents turn fatal.

June is National Gun Violence Awareness
Month✨

Yesterday, we kicked off the Wear Orange Campaign
which from June 5th -June 7th which honors victims and survivors of gun violence.🧡🧡🧡

Fayetteville is no stranger to gun violence. Seeing the faces of the victims and hearing the victims families share their stories is heartbreaking.❤️‍🩹

In support of the Cumberland County Firearm Safety Team Chaired by Ms. Danielle Little, our first event took place at the Cumberland County Department of Public Health Building located in Fayetteville, NC.

The event was a great opportunity to connect with members of our community and hear how WE can best service/support them as it pertains to gun violence awareness.

I challenge each of you to do YOUR part to make a positive impact within our communities. Don’t wait until it happens to you to want to make a change. Learn from the lives of others and BE THE CHANGE!
