Another fun nature craft🐿️🍂 We used doubled acorn caps as wheels for some DIY cars. I just cut some pieces of cardboard for the body, and used q-tips as axels. Plus lots of hot glue😆

🚀Rocket ships!! I used some empty diaper boxes, construction paper, and tape. Then the kiddos decorated them with markers✨ This is also a great workout for whoever gets to push the rocket😂👏

Simple nature activity: color the spots in an empty egg carton, then search to find objects that match the colors🧡🍁

🧙‍♀️💚Halloween fun with bubbling cauldrons!

1. Fill a container 2/3 full with water
2. Fill the rest of the container with vinegar
3. Mix in some green powder (matcha or a smoothie greens powder is what I used)
4. Pour in some baking soda until it bubbles over

What a day of homeschool looks like for our (almost) 2 year old💚🏡
1. Stickers-fine motor skills
2. Matching cards- observation and organization skills
3. Picture cards-language and identification skills
4. Play dough-fine motor and imagination skills
5. Coloring-fine motor and art skills
6. Role play with toys-social and language skills
7. Outside open play-sensory and mindfulness skills

Throughout these activities I encourage her to use words to describe her senses; What she sees, feels, etc. If she decides to do things differently or chooses not to do an activity, I don’t try to control. Play is the key here💖🤌

Several reasons to let your kiddo play with bandaids❤️‍🩹
1. Opening and putting on the bandaids develops fine motor skills
2. Practicing on their favorite stuffy or doll promotes the concept of nurturing for others
3. Finding and naming the body part to put a bandaid on builds vocabulary and awareness of anatomy
4. Most people already have bandaids in the house, no need to go buy fancy supplies
5. This activity will engage most kiddos for several minutes

DIY necklace craft💜 You’ll need a pack of colorful necklaces from the party section at the dollar store, recycled TP or paper towel tubes, scissors, and markers. Cut the tubes and have your little color their giant “beads”. Then cut the necklaces so they are just chains, and help your little string on their decorated “beads”. Simply twist the necklace ends together a couple times to close them back. Voila!👏✨

Garden play! We took our sensory time outside today and got in the real dirt🌱💚Cut some fake flowers from the dollar store and used an old jar as a plant pot! I’m pretty sure her favorite part was playing with the water😊
