It is Wednesday again!

Today we will talk about the seven interesting facts about magnesium. (yes, I know that I am a chemist and that I am clearly biased toward chemistry.). Cheers!

1. Magnesium is involved in 300+ chemical reactions in the body.

2. Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body.

3. Magnesium forms in large stars as a result of the fusion of helium with neon.

4. Magnesium makes up 2% of the Earth's crust.

5. Different forms of Magnesium have different properties .

6. Magnesium produces a bright white light when burned.

7. Food sources rich in magnesium include cocoa, cereals and vegetables.

Who would have known! Mg is such an interesting element!

elements?

A: Because if you can't helium or curium, you barium!
