March is Women's History Month, and at SAGE Development, we celebrate those who have made history and those who are currently making a difference for our people.
This month we're highlighting Wíŋyaŋpi That Inspire Us.

Today we honor Ruth Anna Buffalo

Ruth is an enrolled citizen of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation. In 2018 she made national headlines by becoming the first Native American woman elected to the North Dakota Legislature.

Breaking glass ceilings is nothing new to Ruth as she has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from Si Tanka University and three master's degrees from North Dakota State University.

Although she is a woman with many abilities, her greatest passion is bringing a voice to the indigenous people of this land.

Wopila tanka Ruth for your heart and passion.
