Little Hands Daycare and Learning Center is a daycare center where a child can explore his/her own world in a safe and nurturing enviornment. It is our intent to provide a complete educational curriculum suited to the age and maturity of each

child. Our center is a place where self-discovery is inspired through creative play. OUR AFTER SCHOOL ALL-STAR MISSION

Little Hands After School All-Stars is an after school program where a child can explore their own interests, but still have a time and space for homework help and social interaction. It is our intent to provide a safe, fun, and educational environment suited for school age children where they can develop the skills needed for in-school success. History:

Little Hands Daycare & Learning Center was founded in 2003 by Jana & John Bagshaw. Jana graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Elementary Education. After graduation, she worked as a pre-school and toddler teacher and as an assistant director to a large facility in Falmouth for over 9 years. Owning her own center was her lifelong dream and it all came together in May of 2003 when she and John started Little Hands Daycare & Learning Center in West Falmouth. After 5 years of success and happy families, Little Hands branched out and built a brand-new 10,000 sq. The new facility has brought many new families in. The Bagshaws then turned the old daycare center into a Kindergarten and After School building to accommodate the great need for quality before & after school care. After renovations, Little Hands After School All-stars was created in June 2008. They care for children ages Kindergarten through 4th grade. The program is now into its second year and has been very successful. They focus on providing a safe, nurturing and learning environment for school-aged children. It’s a great place for kids to hang out with friends, unwind after a busy day of school and have fun! Parents love knowing their children are having fun afterschool! The Bagshaw’s live in Cumberland with their two boys.
