🎓 Alumni Spotlight: Celeste Raposo, Class of 2011
Our Alumni Spotlight continues with Celeste Raposo (formerly Celeste Chaves), Class of 2011!
After graduating from Holy Name, Celeste attended Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School before earning her Bachelor's degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University.
Today, Celeste is the proud owner of Cakes By Celeste, a cake shop in Dartmouth. Her work has even been featured on Channel 10 News! One of the most rewarding parts of owning her own business is creating custom cakes that become part of her customers' biggest celebrations and milestones. 🎂
💙 Favorite Holy Name memories: Celebrating Catholic Schools Week, learning how to spell Mrs. Lefevre's name through her unforgettable song, performing in Dr. Seuss and Dear Edwina Jr., and spending time with prayer partners. One of the most meaningful memories is that Celeste has even been able to reconnect with her prayer partner years later!
💡 Celeste's advice for current HNS students: "Don't be afraid of what's ahead. Chase your dreams, work hard, and trust the journey. Life has a way of opening doors you never imagined, and you may be surprised by where it takes you."*
We're so proud to see Celeste turning her passion into a business and creating something that brings joy to so many families. We can't wait to see where her journey takes her next!
