Scholarship Announcement:

The USGIF scholarship application period for 2025-2026 opens January 18th and closes April 18th, 2025. Please submit your application via this link: https://usgif.submittable.com/submit
More information:
—Scholarships are available across disciplines and widely defined. If you have a question if your major or area of interest fits -- it probably does if it relates to geospatial thinking and tools.
—Students need not be U.S. citizens but must be studying at a school in the U.S. or at a USGIF international partner organization
USGIF's general awards begin at $1,000 for graduating high school seniors and $3,000 for students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. studies.
Thirteen sponsored awards are available, ranging from $5,000 to $15,000.
Many students use this scholarship as a springboard to their chosen professions.
