Fairmont Early Childhood Initiative - ECI It takes a Community to raise a child! The Fairmont area Early Childhood Initiative (ECI) is here to promote activities and events for children Birth-5 years.

ECI in the Fairmont area was created as a collaborative effort between the Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) and Community Education & Recreation (CER) programs, including other programs that also serve the 0-5 age group! ECI strives to connect the many organizations in the community that offers events, activities, and services for the Birth-5 yrs age and their families. We create a calendar

monthly of these activities to help families get the relevant information all in one spot. You can find the monthly calendar on our page. If you have an event or activity to add, please message us and our ECI Communications Coordinator will add it. It takes a Community to Raise a Child!

This Saturday, a free community event to share back to school supplies with families who need them (bring your class supply list!) All day fun from 8am-5pm with bouncy houses, vendor show, and a community water balloon fight!

We're helping local families get ready for the new school year!

Families who need a little extra support are invited to bring their child's school supply list and go "shopping" for available school supplies—completely FREE!

✨ What's Happening:
🎒 Free school supplies for low-income families
📝 Bring your child's school supply list
🏰 Bounce house
💦 Community water balloon fight
🍕 Food specials available
🎉 Games, family fun, and more!

This is a FREE community event. If you'd like to support the event, school supply and monetary donations are greatly appreciated—but never required.

📅 Fall Session: September 14 – November 7

📣 Mark your calendars! Registration opens next Friday at 9:00 AM. We’ll post the sign-up link right here!

We can’t wait to see everyone back in the gym! 💜

Class Guidance:

Tiny Tots: 18-36 months old, 30 minute class, parent assisted
Foundations: 3 year olds, 45 minute class, parent must remain in the gym and assist as needed
Developmentals: 4-7 year olds, 1 hour class, working on gymnastics fundamentals
Progressions: 6+ year olds, 90 minute class, skill progressions
Boys: 4-6 year olds, 45 minute class
Flip & Shine Adaptive: pre-k- 6th grade, 30 minute class

Please follow age requirements and class recommendations from your certificates from this summer if possible!
