A tutor can design a learning program for your child according to his or her unique needs. Not all children learn the same, some need that extra support, but all children can be successful learners. Summer Tutoring:
To prevent summer regression
Often children will regress in the summer months, some may benefit from reviewing previous taught skills. Others would benefit from a preview of what is to come in the new academic school year. Fall Tutoring, to help with after school homework, projects, reading, math, state test preparations or study habits. Do you sometimes have trouble providing the help he or she needs? Tutoring can help fill in the gaps by providing your child guidance and tutoring in his or her problem areas. Homework doesn’t have to be a chore. A tutor can make it fun and help take the pressure off parents. General Study Habits
Good study habits are central to effective learning. Tutoring can help your child to develop better study skills. Skills such as: note-taking, time management, efficient studying, and test preparation, all crucial for getting ahead in education. State Test
Performing well on state tests is crucial for ensuring that all opportunities are available to your child. But for many kids, taking tests isn’t easy, and the high-pressure situation may cause them to perform poorly. Tutoring helps to prep children for test day by providing study skills and educating students in the best test-taking methods.
