From my “Six Weeks Over Summer Reading” Sessions, some hope for the world:

Last week, my rising Seventh-Eighth Graders unanimously agreed that if they had to choose from loyalty, dignity, forgiveness, and good parenting, they’d value forgiveness the most.

This week, my rising Fourth-Fifth Graders explained to me that nobody ever wins in a war.

These incredible little humans read one grade-appropriate book a week for 6 weeks and go beyond, way beyond a book.

Now for a group to read one book a week also means that I have to read/reread 3 books a week, if I want to sound as If I know what I’m talking about. 😅 However, it’s a worthwhile effort if it leads to such insights!
