We are the Sexuality, Minoritized Identities, and Lifespan Experiences Lab—better known as the SMILES Lab.
While our lab is not new, our presence on social media is. Since 2022, Dr. Michael T. Vale has worked with students at Sacred Heart University to research important topics such as ageism, sexuality, stigma, resilience, and identity across the lifespan.
