DANCE the WAVE

. My mentor in this facilitation has been my own dance awareness kindled along with the awesome people who continue to DANCE THE WAVE with me every SUNDAY going on 5 years now. My formal dance training at North Carolina School of theARTS in modern dance and theatre as well as improv training earlier with Ric Murphy grounded a strong sense of the need of every human to dance and tell stories in community. My daughter Lucia actually brought this particular practice to me having been mentored by Melissa Michaels in Boulder and participating with Lucia and her friends from MUM sustainable living program here in FAirfield. When Lucia and her friends left Fairfield they encouraged me to keep facilitating DANCE THE WAVE and I decided to do it. In Fairfield there is a tradition of manifesting what we want on our own in our own special way far from urban areas where many people are dancing in large groups now. THAT is why DANCE THE WAVE is still here every SUNDAY at MORNING STAR STUDIO 11~12:15.
