Today, the Solano County Office of Education was proud to join families and community partners at the Resource Fair at Anna Kyle Elementary School in Fairfield! 💙

Organized by Solano County Supervisor Wanda Williams, the event brought together local organizations dedicated to connecting Solano County families with valuable resources, services, and support.

Families enjoyed a free diaper giveaway, a raffle for several Pack ’n Plays, free children’s clothing, and food provided by Food is Free Bay Area. Community partners included WIC, Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District, Kaiser Permanente, Asian Pacific American Public Affairs, First 5 Solano, Child Start, Assemblymember Lori D. Wilson, Senator Christopher Cabaldon, and many more.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this day possible and, most importantly, to the families who joined us. When our community comes together, our families thrive!

Breaking the Silence starts with conversation. 💜
Join The Empowerment Project on September 10 for a free community event focused on helping parents, educators, teens and community members recognize the warning signs of unhealthy and abusive relationships before they become tragedies.
The evening will honor Gabby Petito’s story and include powerful reflections from her parents, Nicole Schmidt and Tara Petito, along with Joseph Hunter and Clia Miller Finn. Together, we’ll explore how awareness, education and open conversations can help young people build healthy relationships and prevent dating violence.
