While at the rink today, DYWRI Alum, Erin’00, thought she saw a familiar flash of yellow on the ice! Turns out it was not only a DYW shirt, but it was our current representative, Iris! Erin’s daughter was so excited to meet Iris. Like Erin, Iris will soon be headed to Harvard! Since DYW Nationals, Iris has been backpacking Europe with her friend. From Croatia to Austria, she has learned so much about the history and culture of each region. She has also enjoyed some good food and thrilling hikes!

Preliminary night 2! Iris took the stage in self expression and fitness. Her answer to “What if you could trade places with anyone, who would it be and why?” brought the audience to laughter as she told us of her fun loving dog Pascal! Her fitness routine was no joke and she owned it! Iris worked so hard as she prepped for Nationals and her preliminary performance proved that. We are so proud of everything she put on the stage!
