Reserve your spot today! TK and Kindergarten registration for the 2023-24 school year is now open! Children who turn 5 with birthdates from September 2, 2017 - September 1, 2018 can register for Kindergarten placement. TK is available for students who turn 5 after the Kindergarten cut-off date. In 2016, voters approved Measure J, a $249 million school improvement measure, that focused on the top priority needs District-wide.

These most pressing needs included safety and security, new libraries, replacing old portable classrooms, and upgrading bathrooms.

If you haven't driven by First Street recently, you may not have seen the improvements made for the students at Fairview Elementary School, funded by Measure J.

Scope of this multi-phase project, completed in 2020 included:
✅ Modernize classrooms and offices
✅ New main office and kindergarten complex
✅ New library
✅ New play equipment and shade structure
✅ Expand existing parking lot
✅ Safety and security upgrades
✅ Update technology infrastructure

The Governing Board is considering placing a proposed facilities improvement measure on the November, 2022 ballot. Should it be approved, it will allow the District to continue providing a quality education and improved learning environment for local children.
