Who is our new (to us) teacher, Miss Lily?

Let's learn about her!
Lily is a Miami University senior from Long Island, NY. She has been teaching Music Together since 2021, and is so excited to continue teaching in Ohio! In addition to singing, Lily plays the flute and enjoys performing on stage with Miami's Department of Theatre. Lily believes that music is our most accessible gateway to creativity, and she values that opportunity to build musical spaces for young children above all.

Miss Meghan is so happy to have Miss Lily with us at Sound Support Music Together! If you see her around in classes, be sure to give her a big Music Together "Hello to Miss Lily!"

Each week in our classes we give every child opportunities to experience opposites: fast/slow, high/low, in/out, up/down. Not only does this make our music activities much more fun and engaging, it's TEACHING your child important skills about comparing and contrasting so they notice and understand more complex ideas.

The best part about it? It's FUN! Using music to teach these concepts helps them stick in your child's brain and that will help them for years to come.
