It’s the fourth day of Israel Week! Israel isn’t all about technology and innovation, it also has a thriving culture. Today is focused on Israeli literature.
Amos Oz was an Israeli essayist, novelist, and journalist. He was the author of 40 books, including novels, short story collections, children's books, and essays, and his work has been published in 45 languages, more than that of any other Israeli writer. Oz is regarded as one of "Israel's most prolific writers and respected intellectuals", as The New York Times worded it in an obituary.

It’s day three of Israel Week! Today we’re talking about Israeli innovation!
Have you heard of Silicon Wadi? Yes, it’s a play on the term Silicon Valley used in colloquial Hebrew, but it isn’t far off from the truth! It describes the clusters of cities in central Israel that assemble some of the country's biggest innovators and has earned Israel the title of the “Start-Up Nation!” So many of our daily technologies come out of this cluster of industries, including the first instant messaging system, GPS like Waze, and parts of your phone! Do you recognize some of these companies?
Check in later to see how this innovation takes a foothold on the world stage! Be sure to visit and celebrate Earth Day! @ Silicon Wadi
