Meet our Public Relations Chair: Sarah! Hi guys! My name is Sarah and I’m a senior here at GMU with a head-over-heels love for medicine 🩺 I’m officially the grandmaster of our social media account so any DM’s will be answered by me🥰 Outside of school I enjoy working out, reading novels, hiking, and traveling (granted there isn’t a pandemic or that I’m not studying). I also tutor and am a clinical intern♥️. A fun fact about me is that I’m a ***complete*** history buff 😂 Pictured is me visiting my favorite city on the planet: Shiraz, Iran— home to Persepolis, the famed poet Rumi, and Cyrus the Great’s tomb. The other picture is of my spoiled puppy who I take on sanity walks during exam season🐶🤭 I’m gearing up for a great semester with you guys!

American Cancer Society at GMU recognizes October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🎗According to BreastCancer.Org, “About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 13%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.” ACS has started a fundraiser, our goal is $250 to help a woman fighting breast cancer.
