The sunflower is an herloom Hopi Black sunflower whose seeds came from Botanical Colors 🌻

I’ve taken a linen stitch and snuck a row or regular ol’ knitting between each slipped stitch row. So… extended linen stitch?

This is how I begin the Old Norwegian (aka Twisted German) and Longtail Cast-ons

I make a “gun“ out of my fingers, and then after I have the yarn secured, I turned it into a “slingshot“🔫🧶

Apparently, there are a lot of weapons involved when I cast on a Knitting project!😂

Also, I tried real hard to find an emoji for slingshot but couldn’t come up with one 😆
