Classes in Creative Floral Design
Flowers placed in a vase without any particular design are satisfying for the simple reason that flowers, in themselves, are beautiful. These same flowers arranged according to certain basic principles become a work of art. Principles of floral design provide a method for composing floral materials into pleasing arrangements. Artistry in floral design can only be expressed when a firm grasp of these principles are internalized, and the techniques learned and practiced. These classes take the form of demonstration, hands-on workshop, and individual critiques. Each week will focus on a specific arrangement style. Classes need not be taken in succession and are geared for all levels of design experience. Class size is limited, permitting individual guidance.
All materials are included and participants will make and take home their own arrangements. The classes are conducted in a well-equipped floral studio at Fawn Lane Farm. Start this exciting new journey soon!
