Hi this is Millie (Mill Mill) I wrote this as a comment but now I want to share it and so that you know I am going into Rich's account and publish and please share this again. So you understand this coming from me Millie (Mill Mill) to Richard:
As Rich has always been humble about himself I will paraphrase his go to answer, As strong as he needed to be. On 2 occasions we visited his hometown and of course being best friends with the beautiful late Janet I would hear the stories he would never tell. From the strength of character. Performing for charity functions cashing the checks and donating the moneyback. to feats like day he came in on his off day because a behemoth driver about 6'7" would terrorize he replacement. Rich asserted himself to the driver and he tried to attack Rich who was only 5' 9". That guy would end up with a broken wrist and lost his job. The day he helped to save the life of Indira Ghandi the Prime Minister of India. Working along with the U.S. Secret Service the crew of assassins separated her from her detail and Secret Service without giving it a thought he got himself directly in front and over of the Prime Minister to shield her as the gate opened directly protecting her from any one of fifty or more windows across the street one or more assassins could have been positioned. Only Lee Silver congratulated citing how he prevented an international incident and saving The Shubert Organization from losing celebrity and international heads of state boycotting the theatres for fear of safety. Two others execs dressed him down for placing himself in danger. Another just walked up to him and called him a F***ing as**ole. And the Secret Service they gave him a pair of cheap cufflinks that broke the 1st time he tried to use them. Rich went home never saying a word. Mr. Silver's praise was all he needed. The Palisades Mall was once the second largest mall in the U.S. He hadn't been there for years and people were coming up to him like it was yesterday and shook his hand from all walks of life. He would be embarrassed when they had to tell me a Rich story. I am not posting this to brag. I am posting it as much to let people know who he is and to help Richard recapture that humble confidence. Friday 15th day is an important day and I hope all who read this support him and remind him 2 terminal diseases don't define him. The person inside who battles these diseases and has outlived both diagnosis does define the man.
