Today st 3:30-5 pm in Social Science 228, Jawan Rasikh, Ph.D. Candidate, University of Pennsylvania, will give a talk sponsored by the History Department on "Global Afghanistan: An Intellectual Perspective."

America's Unofficial Ambassadors (AUA) - Information Session!

AUA offers students the incredible opportunity to intern with a grassroots organization in Tajikistan, Morocco, Indonesia, or Zanzibar for six to eight weeks during the summer. Participants will gain professional skills and cross-cultural experiences, study a foreign language, address vital human development challenges at the local level, and serve as unofficial ambassadors of their home communities all while earning TCNJ credit! Scholarship opportunities are available! To learn more, please consider attending our upcoming information session TOMORROW:

Greetings members! On Friday Nov. 6th Haydar Tavakkalov, who is a visiting faculty member in the History Department and the Music Department this semester, will be performing a concert of Traditional Music from the Pamir Mountain region of Tajikistan in Central Asia. The concert begins at 8 pm in the Mayo Concert Hall. I encourage you to attend what I'm sure will be a wonderful and unique evening of music and poetry.
