Tera’s Little Angels has a heartfelt mission: to provide exceptional care to every child while nurturing their intellectual, social, physical, and moral development. Our goal is to create a rich academic environment where children can truly embrace and explore education. Through hands-on experiences in science, math, reading, creative arts, and agriculture, we aim to spark curiosity, build confidence, and grow each child’s lifelong love for learning.

As our programs continue to flourish, so does the need for more space, resources, and opportunities for our Little Angels. We are launching this fundraiser to help expand our daycare school, allowing us to welcome more families, enhance our curriculum, and create additional classrooms and learning areas designed to inspire young minds.

A guiding mantra that resonates with Tera’s life philosophy is, “Do what you love and love what you do.” For her, this simple yet profound principle encapsulates the essence of living life to the fullest, embracing one’s passions, and finding joy in every endeavor.

**Women’s History Month Spotlight, Honoring Tera Burnett**

With a humble beginning born on July 18th, born and raised in Princeton, New Jersey, Tera Burnett’s life has been a testament to resilience, passion, and unwavering dedication. Growing up alongside four sisters and a brother, Tera learned the value of community, support, and the strength that comes from a united family.
In 2011, Tera made a pivotal shift in her career as she transitioned into the field of education. For six impactful years, from 2011 to 2017, she nurtured young minds aged 6 weeks to 5 years at a local daycare/preschool. Beginning with the daycare and then specializing in the Abbott program, Tera’s passion for teaching and shaping young lives shone brightly.
In 2018, fueled by a vision to create a nurturing and loving environment for children, Tera took a bold step and founded her own Homebased Child Care program, aptly named Tera’s Little Angels. This endeavor not only showcased her entrepreneurial spirit but also highlighted her unwavering commitment to early childhood development. Her dedication bore fruit when she completed her CDA in 2020, solidifying her expertise in the field.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Tera’s personal life is a testament to love, strength, and family. In July 2015, she exchanged vows with her soulmate, Andre Burnett, embarking on a shared journey rooted in love and mutual support. Together, they are blessed with eight beautiful children—four boys and four girls—a testament to the love and harmony that permeate their household.
On this International Women’s Day, let us celebrate Tera Burnett—a woman of strength, compassion, and boundless determination. Her journey stands as a beacon of inspiration for women everywhere, reminding us of the transformative power of love, hard work, and unwavering dedication. Today, we honor Tera and all the remarkable women who embody resilience, grace, and the unwavering spirit of femininity.
