Group: I have been fortunate to have the experiences I've had so far in my life. I wanted to figure out a way in which I could give back for what I have learned from them. I decided that I wanted to host a race/walk in support of Autism and Aspergers. When I named the race UKnight For Autism, I wasn't only thinking of benefiting and supporting the students at Kamiak who have Autism, I was thinking
of other kids and adults who have special needs locally and abroad as well. UKnight For Autism will be donating all of its proceeds and donations to All Aboard. All Aboard is a local organization that helps adults with special needs develop an active, inclusive, and positive lifestyle. Race/Walk: Our race/walk will be on April 20th at Kamiak High School at 9am. It is a 3 mile course designed so that it is wheel chair friendly and easy for all ages to participate in. The registration fees are the donations we will be giving to All Aboard, so in essence, when you sign up to run or walk (or donate) to this event you are donating to All Aboard. Online Registration: Early Registration $25 will be available from March 1st to April 6th (this is the only chance you will have to get the race shirt designed by one of Kamiak's Life Skills Student, you will also get the bracelet, race bib etc.), Late Registration/Day Of Registration $30 will be available from April 7th to Race Day Morning (April 20th) (you will get the bracelet, race bib etc.) If you cannot make the race but still want to help out we will be taking donations day of as well, or you can donate to All Aboard on their website (www.allaboardwa.org)
