We have seven inches of snow at our house so far! How much have you had? Just checking in!

Here's a photo of a Belted Kingfisher I had the pleasure of watching as he fished! A kingfisher is also the main character in this adorable picture book "Mel Fell" by Corey R. Tabor. It tells the story of the day a young kingfisher decides to jump out of the nest and the adventure that happens that day. This is one of my favorites (I have a lot of favorites)! "I Am Rebel" by Ross Montgomery is a terrific book for 10-12 year old boys who love dogs!

I am excited to start up the spring semester of reading tutoring next week!

"Spy School" by Stuart Gibbs has me sneaking around the corner with my sunglasses on! The first two weeks of January had me snowed/iced in and super-sick with RSV, so quarantined on top of that. That is when I started reading the Spy School series and I love it! Now my husband is reading it and one of my tutoring kiddos as well! Perfect for an 8-12 year old boy or girl who is up for action and adventure! Let the spy adventure begin!
