The mission of NCDC is to engage Northwestern students in community development through social awareness and advocacy. In today’s society, we need to continue to educate and connect students to elements of community development involving social justice and equality for all.

As a student organization built within a privileged institution, we recognize our responsibility to be active listeners to marginalized communities and learn how to be better. We are open and commit ourselves to these conversations with our community.

We condemn any and all forms of racism and stand in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. We support and stand with the black community and all those protesting against police brutality. Now is the time to use our voices to take action.
