The College Prep Program hosted a virtual Instructor Panel, where prospective students were able to meet a few of our amazing instructors and ask questions about our In Focus Seminars.

Katie Krall spent 2022 as a Development Coach with the Boston Red Sox where she oversaw pitch design, advance scouting and integrating data into player plans. In 2016, Krall planned the World Series Trophy Tour for the Chicago Cubs. Krall teaches “Front Office Operations,” “Sports Economics and Financial Accounting,” and “Organizational Theory and Leadership” in Northwestern’s Master’s of Sports Administration program and “Sports Marketing” in Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.

Dr. Jeremy Keys is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Northwestern University. Professor Keys has a diverse research background, having completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University, and having done research on cancer cell biology, the biomechanics of bone metastases, and automotive component design.

Students in the College Prep Program’s In Focus Seminars have the opportunity to take field trips to enhance their experience in the classroom. The “So You Want to Be a Prosecutor?” course took a field trip to Northwestern’s Pritzker School of Law and had the chance to hear from current law students about their path and experience in law school.

There is still time to register for the 2025 APCPD Virtual Fair! The fair will be Thursday, November 20th from 5:30-7:30 PM Central Time. We will have representatives from Northwestern's College Prep Program there to answer any questions you may have! Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from over 40 top universities across the country to learn about summer opportunities.
