Last but not leasttt, this week we’ll be highlighting a woman and prayer warrior who will either leave you rolling your eyes or full of laughter, our seasoned Impact President, Imani Minor.

Major: Psychology w/ a certificate in Civic Engagement
“Prime”: Now & Counting

Imani misses the discounted price of meallsss, having daily scheduled naps, and recess breaksss from her youthful days.

Her biggest NU takeaway is that goofiness, laughter, and joy don’t equate to immaturity; self-deprecation doesn’t equate to humility; and numbness doesn’t equate to peace. She’s learned to invest in quality, meaningful relationships with herself and others.

Congratulations Imani for your efforts and dedication to the start & sustainability of the Impact Movement here at NU🥳💖

Who’s the kid with the drip?👀

Known as the campus comedian, this week we’ll be highlighting the man who is bound to put a smile on your face & boost those serotonin levels! If you guessed Femi Ola
then you’re no stranger to laughter.

Major: Communications Studies
“Prime”: hasn’t been reached

Like wine, Femi gets better with age🤣. The younger days make him miss when adults would just give you money. Now they know he’s working and don’t want to give up the coins.

His biggest NU takeaway is that true contentment is self-defined. Do everything in your power to keep your peace cause NU sure will try you!🤧

Congratulations Femi for blessing the community with your sense of humor🥳

Did you correctly guess which one of our beautiful Impact seniors these adorable pics belong to?👀

Known as a new Delta, this week we’ll be highlighting our lovely Rwandan princess, Claudia Kalisa.

Major: Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences
“Prime”: 22

Claudia’s prime age is 22 because she’s starting to better understand herself & loving who she is. She does miss how she use to view the world & being carefree.

NU has pushed her out of her comfort zone and taught her how resilient she is, showing her what she is capable of. Her biggest NU takeaway is that everyone’s journey is unique💫

Congratulations Claudia for how far you’ve come🥳

05/13/2021

Known as the host of the infamous wave darty, this week we’ll be highlighting our beloved ex-wave Queen, Emma Evans.

Major: Journalism
“Prime”: 10
Values: joy, hope & peace

Emma’s prime age is 10 because she felt like a cool 5th grader with no worries, just vibes. No one could touch her on the tetherball court!!💯

Her biggest NU takeaway is learning how to practice joy & hope as a discipline & knowing the value of protecting her peace! She attributes her growth to the wonderful people God has placed in her life at NU💖

Congratulations Emma for leaving an ‘Impact’ on the NU community🥳
