This is my favorite practice to introduce people to because it is so magical.
Yes, I love my sound baths, and most people have an idea of what to expect.
And while Yoga Nidra has a similar “vibe” to a sound bath, it holds its own unique system to carry you into a deep relaxation state.
It is so powerful that it has been studied and used to help veterans who suffer from PTSD.
And it is so gentle, that it can help you create a heart-led intention on a subconscious level. In yoga nidra, this is called your Sankulpa.
The benefits are astounding: reduced cortisol and improved your sleep, the release of multiple happiness hormones to potentially help reduce physical pain and improve your emotional state, improved focus, and a powerful state of calm. You might even connect with your state of inner bliss.
A favorite on my retreats, I am actively bringing this to more studios so that you can experience this in your everyday life.

When I decided to host more retreats, and to make it official as Four Elements Retreats , I knew I wanted to collaborate with other women whose unique energy and talents would complement me and make the experience even richer.
The first step was natural and that was to be an affiliate of so that I have access to not only the years of expertise in group travel, but also luxury boutique hotels that I would not know about otherwise. I had partnered with Beth, the owner of Houlahan, for all of our prior retreats. So I got to learn from the best in action.
And of course, the next thought was to ask my friend to be one of my primary retreat teacher partnerships. Lucky for me, she was an instant “yes, let’s do it.” 💃
A few months later, this magical experience came together. Ancient wisdom, Natural Beauty, Modern Fun. From the beauty of the land and nature of Tulum, to the beauty of its Mayan heritage and people, we had an incredible experience in Tulum.
Add in Sarah’s fantastic daily yoga sessions, my breathwork, meditations, sound experiences and more, our collaboration exceeded what I had hoped.
Here’s a peak at a couple of our days on this retreat. I will share more in another post. It’s hard to put into words how special an experience like this is.
We are so grateful to the women who took the leap and joined us, as the group dynamic was just perfect.
That’s what happens when aligned women come together. It’s like the stars aligning. ✨
And this is the energy of what a retreat can do: renew, reset, and reconnect. It is the chance to leave with more happiness, peace, and joy in your heart. 💖

Whether you are new to the sound bath experience or you are a big fan, it’s nice to realize that every sound bath can be different, even with the same facilitator.
And just like musicians, every facilitator has their own unique style. ✨
And - Your energy and needs change every day and throughout the day. So choosing to refill your cup through nervous system nourishment practices, like a sound bath, is a lovely gift to give yourself.
While the science that proves the benefits is growing, the most important part is how you feel afterwards. When you feel relaxed, restored, and renewed, you can face the challenges of daily life with more ease and your inherent graceful strength.
