HELLO ALL!!

We hope you had a great Spring Break and excited for the spring quarter! As we start the new quarter, here is what you need to know:

1) Every year the Northwestern Undergraduate Admissions Office invites admitted Black and Latinx students from all over the country to visit Northwestern for Wildcat Days.

2) The admissions office guarantees the fly-in students a place to sleep. This is where you come in...

We need YOU (if you live on campus) to host these high school seniors 2 nights (Sunday, April 14th to Tuesday, April 16th). It's a minimal time commitment; they have activities they will be involved in. So all you need to do is give them some room on your floor and be relatively nice. (If you have a roommate, they can volunteer too for double the occupancy! And then your students can be friends. But if you just host, and not the roommate, make sure your roommate is cool with that)

3) If you volunteer, you will be entered into a raffle that we have at the of spring quarter featuring gift cards from ALL your favorite Evanston places.

Wildcat Days 2019 Hosting! Sign-up to host an admitted student! Wildcat Days 2019 runs from Sunday April 14th to Tuesday April 16th. In order to host a prospective student you MUST live on campus (no Greek houses or off-campus). Help welcome the Class of 2023!

Have advice to give to perspective students? Want free and easy publicity for your student group? Do you want a reason to avoid studying and writing papers? Then write for our fall newsletter which focuses on Black and Latinx life on campus!

Time commitment will consist of:

- Interview for qualified candidates either Monday, November 13th or Tuesday, November 14th
- one training meeting on Thursday, November 16th in the
evening
- one 30-45 minute high school visit

After the visit then you get paid!

Hello all! We REALLY need volunteers to host prospies from THIS Sunday to Monday. All you have to do is be available on Sunday at 11 AM to let them into the room and again at 8:30 PM. They leave at 8 AM on Monday. If you live in non-greek housing on campus, please consider helping us welcome potential black and latino NU students. Again the commitment is MINIMAL.
