Many of you may have noticed that Mars and Venus are moving together so beautifully in the night sky.
Right now we are witnessing a cosmic representation of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Venus is nearly outshining Mars being less than four degrees behind.
Although technically not retrograde until the 23rd of July, Venus has begun to pull away from Mars, as if he has lost his faith and turned to look back.
The symbolism is undeniable and it is perhaps this very same scene in the sky that first inspired the myth. Son of Apollo and Calliope, Orpheus was blessed with Music. Eurydice, whose name translates as ‘profound judgement’, is of lesser known origins, though we can guess her history has been obscured or undermined. We ought to regard her as the Divine Feminine in all her aspects, capable of charming the charmer of all charmers. Her story, too, involves a snake.

When this much needed rain abates, we will have quite a show to enjoy over the coming month. Enjoy!

Lighthouse Tarot & Astrology Presents: is a monthly meeting discussing all things related to and extending from astrology, tarot, sacred geometry, and numerology. All events will consist of a presentation and a Q&A style discussion.

When Life doesn’t conform to our expectations, it’s important to ask where our attention is placed. It’s important to inquire whether or not we are divided in our presence. Inner peace does not require external events or people to be any certain way. Trust your experience and recognize how far you have come!

Full Moon~Total Blood Moon Eclipse~Preview!


First we will pray for the skies to be clear and the air to be brisk, for the coffee to be hot and the view to the West free of all obstacles.
Then let’s set the alarms early for the peak viewing around 5am. Although it is helpful to have company on such an early occasion for the encouragement it brings, it’s also nice to be reverent and thoughtful toward yourself, your thoughts and your feelings as you observe this particular moment in time.
The eclipse is a moment of equilibrium, but only a moment. It’s like a pendulum that swings and is only perfectly in the middle while traveling it’s fastest. This means that whatever you observe within or without should be given time to integrate. This tendency toward the sudden and illuminating flashes of insight is only encouraged by the proximity of Uranus.
Always remember, it is a beautiful world, and keep breathing.

New Moon~Solar Eclipse in Virgo 10.25.2022

In the ancient tradition of the Goddess the symbol of the trinity is held sacred and indicates the three stages of a woman’s life, the Virgin, the Mother, and the Krone. Each stage is accompanied by the particular identity associated with the image and they are constantly in flux. So at any given time we are a combination of all three, regardless of our age or body, and one will dominate. It’s true most young people exemplify the virginal and the elderly the wisdom of the Krone, but many remain innocent of spirit well into old age and many a young person has shown wisdom beyond their years.
Virgo is Mutable Earth and as such is able to change easily from one stage to the next, but lacks stability and is forever sensitive to the particular needs of the moment.
All month long (and, forever) the feminine archetype has been under attack on the global stage and this eclipse indicates this as a generational wound and thus stirring the ancestral trauma of the Earth herself. It’s no wonder everyone is feeling raw and worn out, or putting up their best front intended to hide the uneasiness within. It is true that there must be those strong enough to defend the innocent and the elderly and there is work to be done in this regard.
One can’t ignore the location of this eclipse over the conflict ridden areas of Eastern Europe and Russia as well as Mother India. The ancients held the eclipse in deep reverence and many report otherworldly experiences inside the path of totality. So, whether it is the same mechanics that govern the moon-tide relationship or the sweet influence of Venus we will observe on Tuesday this week if these forces can offer a new path to peace.
