Today is the last day to complete the 5 Essentials Survey, a tool used to identify areas for improvement and to help Lincoln plan for the future. The more responses our school gets, the more accurately the results will reflect the learning conditions and climate of our school. If you haven't done so already, please fill out this brief, anonymous survey at the link below. (Choose "Start Here" under "Parent Survey")

Our "Pot O' Gold" Coin Drive is in full swing. 1st grade has pulled into an early lead, but it's still anyone's game! The winning grade gets to dress their teachers in St. Patrick's Day gear, and if we meet our schoolwide goal of $500, all students play fun St. Patrick's Day games. Send loose change (small bills accepted!) with your student now through Monday, March 16. Thanks for your contributions!

The Read-a-thon and Used Book Drive for Bookery are underway at Lincoln! As of yesterday, the kids have clocked 46,000 minutes read - that's well on our way to our goal of 125,000, but we still have a ways to go! Your student can log minutes read or being read to.
Along the theme of all things books and reading, we are aiming to collect 700 books to restock the shelves at Bookery, Lincoln's monthly free book fair. If your family has gently-used, age-appropriate books to pass on, please let us find a new home for them through Bookery! See below for how to donate.

Bookery is always in need of good quality books for kids in grades K-5! If you have books your family no longer needs, consider dropping them in the book donation bin inside the main entrance of the school. You can also email [email protected] to arrange porch drop off. "Lincoln's free bookstore" is operated by parent volunteers and stocked through donations and funding from the PTA.
