Huge congratulations are in order for Kinder Haus Child Care Center! They have officially reached Level 2 in the Nebraska Step Up to Quality program!

This achievement was a true community effort. Kinder Haus was encouraged to join this initiative and was able to participate thanks to the financial support and partnership of the Eustis Area Communities for Kids (C4K) group. By covering the costs associated with this program, C4K ensures our local providers have the resources they need to excel.

What is Step Up to Quality?
It’s a voluntary program led by the Nebraska Department of Education and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. By joining, Kinder Haus isn’t just meeting basic requirements—they are actively choosing to go above and beyond for our kids.

Why this matters for the Eustis Community:
When a local center "steps up," the whole community wins. Here’s how:

Better Futures: 90% of brain development happens before age 5. Quality care now means better reading and math skills later, higher graduation rates, and stronger career paths.

Support for the "Whole Child": Level 2 focuses on more than just ABCs; it ensures kids are supported in their physical health, social-emotional well-being, and language development.

A Stronger Local Economy: High-quality child care allows parents to work with peace of mind and makes the Eustis area a more attractive place for young families to put down roots.

Investing in our children’s early years is the best way to invest in the future of our town. We are so proud of the staff at Kinder Haus for their dedication, and we’re honored to support their journey toward excellence!

Kinder Haus Valentine's Tree 💕

The Kinder Haus Valentine's Tree is a fun and meaningful way to share a little extra love with our daycare this Valentine's season! Located at Waypoint Bank, the tree is decorated with Valentine cards each listing an item that Kinder Haus needs or would love to have.

Some cards include everyday essentials like toilet paper, kitchen supplies, or classroom necessities. Others feature special wish-list items chosen by each teacher to help enhance their classroom and support our kids.

If you'd like to participate, simply pick a card from the tree and purchase the listed item. Donations can be dropped off at Kinder Haus, Waypoint Bank, or given directly to a Kinder Haus employee or board member.

The Valentine's Tree will be up for the entire month of February. Thank you for helping us spread the love and support our daycare, teachers, and children! 💜 🌳 💖

Items on the tree are big and small. Some big items needed are:
-Changing table/dresser (new or used)

What an incredible day—and it’s all thanks to YOU! 💛
From donated food, to packed tables at brunch, to checks sent in ahead of time, our community showed up in a huge way for our fundraiser.

Because of your generosity, we hit the entire $5,000 matching gift from the Eustis Area Community Foundation Fund—doubling the impact for our kids and families. A special thank you to Zach Jenner for educating our community on the Child Care Tax Credit and making that possible.
