Training never stops. Practicing the basics creates a master of the basics. Today, rookie FF Steven Rico focused on search and hose deployments. There's never a bad day to train.

On Wednesday January 21, 2026 at 1:03 A.M., your Euless Firefighters responded to a structure fire at a local apartment complex. Upon arrival, heavy fire was showing thru the roof and from multiple units. Within minutes of arrival, a resident alerted first-arriving units of a trapped family member. Without hesitation, firefighters entered thru a window, encountered zero visibility, located and removed the conscious victim from the building. Countless hours of training and preparation for this exact situation allowed for the quick thinking, and response which helped save a life. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported. Remember, most fires start in the kitchen so please be safe.
