Well, I'm torn.

On the one hand, the screenshotted letter is a scam--created by AI and sent out by someone who scraped my name off the web (looking for any author) and is hoping I'll fork over a lot of money for them to... who knows. Who cares.

On the other hand... they have a point. It IS a good book, and (I say modestly) I did do a good job with it. And the whole series.

So... if you teach intermediate-level students of English, who want to read one of the most famous short stories in English, may I recommend to you my adaptation of "The Monkey's Paw"?
