Tips from panelists on getting that first job:
1. Be open to different things. It's okay to dabble in everything.
2. Keep your networks strong. Build and maintain relationships.
3. Stay dedicated and be persistent. Always follow-up and take that extra step.
4. Rejection is okay. Take it in the right way and learn from it.
5. Utilize LinkedIn or any form of social media to reach out and get on a company's radar.
Starting the second day with Richard Griffiths, Vice President and Senior Editorial Director of CNN Worldwide, giving us advice on the importance of accuracy and great storytelling.
