Good Morning U of O Law!

CFLA and WLF have teamed up for a donation drive for Hope and Safety Alliance (formerly Womenspace) here in Eugene! For our part, CFLA will be putting on a bottle drive. The bottle drive will run from October 25-November 19. Marked bins will be placed in various locations around the law school for you to deposit your glass bottles and aluminum cans.

WLF will also be running its donation drive during this week (October 25-29). The donations from CFLA and WLF will assist survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Donation Items Needed For WLF:
Laundry Soap
Baby Diapers sizes 3-6

Toddler pull-ups (all sizes)

Baby Wipes

Toilet Paper

Deodorant

Women’s underwear (all sizes)

Cleaning supplies

Full Size Shampoo and Conditioners

Body Wash

Lotion

Ways to Donate through CFLA and WLF:
Place your donation items in the bins located in the law lounge.
Place glass bottles or aluminum cans in the designated recycling bins located in the courtyard or commons.
Donate on Venmo! (QR code on flyer).

Look out for the CFLA recycling bins and recycle to help change a life!

Less than a week until our spring panel event! - We are hosting a panel on reproductive technologies and the law. Please join us! Catered appetizers will be served.

Hey everyone! CFLA is co-sponsoring an event with SBA on Monday, 1/28 @ 1PM in room 141. The event is a lunch time presentation about mental health issues common among students, and how students can take the necessary steps to get help or help others.

I've also heard there may be a sweet treat served.

Good morning! As you plan this week, please consider joining the Child and Family Law Association on Wednesday 11/14/18 at 12PM in Room 141 as we host a panel on domestic violence and the effects it can have on children. Speakers include: A Department of Justice Child Advocacy Division Attorney, an EPD Major Crimes Detective, a Womenspace advocate, a Psychologist, and a KidsFirst Forensic Interviewer! So, if you enjoy great discussions and free lunch (that is not pizza) then please join us Wednesday. See you there!

Way to go CFLA! Our awesome team members volunteered their time and cheerleading skills as they celebrated the participants of the Womenspace Wonder Run this morning. This 5K event supported Womenspace, Eugene’s local domestic violence resource center.
