Lakeside Crafts & Naturals offers a little bit of everything for creative folks and natural living! From handmade natural products such as herbal teas and salves to hand-poured paintable plaster figurines that are fun for all ages.

🎨 Every paint kit is made to order!

Each order includes custom paint colors based on your theme or preferences. Whether you want bright rainbows, soft pastels, earthy neutrals, or holiday colors, I’ve got you covered! Paint kits can include 3–6 paint colors depending on what you order.

These kits are perfect for:

Every piece is hand-poured, carefully packaged, and made with love right here in Oklahoma.

we finally had a chance to try Harvest Moon Apothecary and Tea Shop for lunch yesterday. absolutely fantastic!! the food was incredible!! and there is nothing like an iced cold herbal tea with honey on a hot summer day! if you are in Eufaula, please check them out!! they even use compostable and recyclable take out containers, silverware and cups. they really go the extra mile. we love supporting small businesses, especially ones that value the Earth and natural living in the same ways that we do 🌎💕

Our simple rain water catchment system saves us a lot of work having to haul in water. We spent $30 on the gutters and $60 on 4 55 gallon barrels. Food grade is the safest way to go if you are going to be using this water on your skin or for the animals. Our barrels had fruit in them and came from a local brewery. Our neighbor gave us the storage bag!

These 275 gallons will last us a few weeks if we are in a drought. For context: we use about 20 gallons a week for 2 people to shower, 35 gallons a week for dishes/handwashing and our garden uses about 25 gallons a week during a drought. The chickens drink about 10 gallons a week as well.

We haven’t had to haul in water at all this spring because of these barrels!! We plan to add more water storage so we can collect more rain!

We stopped by Last Stop Store tonight to get 2 bags of Plaid Rooster Coffee Roaster. God Bless y’all at Last Stop lol. Every time we buy this coffee, whoever is running the cash register always says “ya know that’s like $29 for a bag right?” We know! It’s pesticide free and we love that this coffee is sustainably sourced. This is totally worth the price seeing as how we make all of our iced lattes and other coffee drinks at home now, when we used to pay $15 for 2 coffees twice a week at various different local shops! There is nothing like fresh ground, sustainably sourced and clean coffee every day!! It’s always nice to be able to support two small businesses at once!

there are many different ways to handle the power problem living off grid but this is how we do it!

we use this predator 5000w (3900w continuous) along with our predator 2000w (1600w continuous) generator to power everything: 5000 BTU A/C, 10 cubic foot fridge/freezer, starlink, laptops and charging phones.

We used to be able to run one generator for 8 hours a day while working and use our solar power bank for the fridge in the evening/overnight, but now that it’s 95 degrees during the day and 75 degrees at night, we have to have power 24/7 to stay cool. We rotate both generators and use each for 12 hours a day to keep things running smoothly while we invest into full solar power!

Just like a car, with proper maintenance (oils change, air filter, spark plugs) you can run these generators without problems! I’ve seen many Arizona off grinders use generators for everything as well and they have even more extreme temperatures! Harbor Freight
