These will be my last couple weeks teaching yoga for a while! My nursing school schedule next term is not allowing me to teach at this time. I promise I will be back teaching though once it’s all over. September 17th is my graduation date and I would love it if you joined me these next two weeks for Yin Yoga Monday at 6:00 pm. That will be the 20th and the 27th. I will still be doing massage at Fusion as I will be able to work around my schedule each week. I hope to see you soon on your mat or on my massage table! I’m very saddened by this but also excited to do well in my classes!

Kinesiology tape is a durable and stretchy material meant to adhere to your skin and lightly pull. Once applied to the specific area of concern, the tape gently recoils, and creates a bit of space for more blood and lymphatic fluid to flow. This means faster healing! It can ease pain and inflammation. The tape is meant to stay on for three to four days even through showering and working out. It moves with you, and is the perfect addition to enhance your massage or reiki session. I myself have felt the benefits of this healing modality and use it frequently. Let me know, and this treatment can be combined with your massage/reiki!
Also, I am fully vaccinated and wear a mask in my massages for our safety!

I am so happy to be back teaching with my Fusion family! Starting out I will be teaching Yin Yoga every Monday 6-7:15 pm. We do have a limited number of spots for each class to accommodate distance and masks are asked to be worn until you are on your mat. So please sign up early by calling or booking online! I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting new people! In addition to this great news all evening classes at Fusion are $10 through April so I will see you on your mats soon.

I don’t really like the word detox and even though I sometimes say it, I don’t really care for the phrase “let go of what isn’t serving you”.

Creating space!

That’s what I want.

A lot of my movement lately has been about just that.
When I go to nature to walk - I’m creating space
When I come to meditation - I’m creating space

This isn’t manifestation or creating a vision board.
This is creating space for the infinite possibilities laying before me.

I am creating the space in my body and my mind. Clearing the path before me and opening up to anything and everything that is for my highest good.

This is magic!

I have decided to start offering reiki !!!
Reiki is a healing energy work.
We will start out with oracle cards and a guided meditation specifically for your needs.
I bring crystal bowls for sound healing and the session ends with another short meditation to ground the energy.

I am offering you an hour and 15 minutes of some seriously relaxing yoga Thursday evening!
There will be some very slow and gentle movements but mostly a lot of opportunities to soften your body and mind into some glorious stretching.
There is no experience necessary and it’s a $10 suggested donation but please pay what you can!

This is generally where I freeze.
I’m fully aware that I am the one that carved these paths before me.
It was my intention to give myself the option to choose which one felt right, for me.
But this is where I begin to feel the fear creep into my lungs.
The change associated with stepping into a new direction is terrifying.
So I take a deep breath and feel my feet strong in the sand that I have dug out to remind me of my path.
I simply put one stumbling foot in front of the other.
Until I land on surer feet.
Until my path embodies who I truly am.

I can find some sort of compassion for every single version of me that I have lived in this life.
All of those versions of me brought me to this moment, this privilege I have to heal.
