☀️ Today is our final day of gold expeditions in The Lake District. 🥾⛰️

The students from Turing House School have had a fantastic week walking in the fells, dipping feet in tarns to cool off and enjoying some truly magical views.

With approximately an hour to go, all teams are on track and making good progress.

☀️ Expedition Update – Gold Duke of Edinburgh, Lake District 🥾⛰️

It’s been a beautiful week here in the Lake District, 16 expedition groups from 3 schools making great progress across the mountains and valleys in glorious sunshine. 🌞

Students from St Marylebone, Turing House School, and VIAT School of Science and Technology, have been navigating confidently, working brilliantly as teams, and taking in some incredible views along the way. It's fantastic to see their resilience, determination, and growing confidence as they tackle the challenges of their expedition.

Our supervising staff are keeping a close eye on all groups, and we're pleased to report that everyone is doing well and (we think..) enjoying the experience!

We're looking forward to welcoming everyone back later with plenty of stories (and probably some tired legs!).

90+ students from St Paul's Catholic College took part in their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition training day.
