The tallest recorded oak trees in the world are Chestnut-leaved oaks (Quercus castaneifolia) located in the Hyrcanian forests of northern Iran. The tallest specimen stands at an astonishing 63 meters (208 feet) tall. This tree is not the tallest specimen but it’s close, measured at 61 meters tall.
