Go fulltime digital nomad? Not so fast 😂
This was me in Cyprus a few months ago.
Had a huge client project.
Wanted to make sure they were super happy.
Also wanted to enjoy Cyprus.
So I combined them both,
working mornings and nights,
while taking time off here and there.
Playing golf and hanging out.
The only "issue" I had was I didn't feel
mentally "free".
I was traveling but not fully enjoying it.
We had a great villa, great friends, great clients.
But my work station was this couch 🤣
Obviously we had a kitchen table and stuff,
but I need a comfy ass chair to even function normally.
At that moment I had a major "aha moment".
If we as a family don't want to
move fulltime to a country like Cyprus or Portugal...
We can just travel and enjoy the place when we want.
Then we come home and do it all over again
when we feel like it.
We love last minute trips
cause you don't have to wait too long.
Just book it, pack your stuff and go.
So all this to say...
Instead of going fulltime digital nomad...
What if I work hard at home,
in my custom home office,
or my downtown dream office.
And then when I go travel for a week or two.
I've earned the time off and can fully enjoy it.
It's ok to have "seasons"...
There's seasons of growth.
There's seasons of rest.
And usually combined they yield the best ROI.
I'm not saying you can't enjoy being a nomad.
I'm saying if you do, find a long term place.
Settle in, make yourself feel at home.
Then create a lifestyle you love,
where you have BOTH fun...
And a great work station that doens't make you go cray cray 😂
Stole this from Gusten Sun love it!
