Escondido High School Class of '67

The class of 1967 prayed for a different outcome but, yesterday evening we got the word that our beloved Alan Heck had passed away. He was surrounded by his wife Sarah, children and grandchildren. His smile was contagious as he worked to help bring the EHS 50+ Reunion to fruition. Rest In Peace Alan, we will hold you in our hearts forever. EHS 50+ Reunion to fruition. We will all miss seeing each of our Classmates this year but because the City of Escondido is not giving out permits for gatherings this year the 50+ Golden Committee cancelled this years reunion.
Plan now to attend the Picnic in 2022! See you there!

MARILYN SHRIVER MEMORIAL

A public memorial is scheduled for 4 pm Saturday, Dec. 2 for Marilyn Shriver, a longtime friend of Happy Yogurt and former Escondido High School teacher and honored coach.

The memorial will be held in the Recreation Room at Terrace Gardens, 1045 Morning View Drive, Escondido 92026.

Marilyn passed away on October 25th at the age of 89.

A graduate of Escondido High School at the old campus on Hickory Street and of San Diego State College, Marilyn was a positive spirit, accomplished painter and friend to many in our community. We miss her.

It's time to get excited! We had our first meeting of the Escondido High School 50+ Golden Reunion Picnic committee last week.The picnic will be on May 19, 2018, at 11 in the morning at Grape Day Park in Escondido. This will be the 73rd annual picnic for classmates graduating 50 or more years ago. The class of 1966 is the host class this year, assisted by the class of 1967 and the class of 1968. Please plan on joining us for a wonderful time of seeing old friends and fellow graduates. The cost will still be $25 per person for your food and drink. Invitations will be mailed in the spring. Escondido high school Facebook friends, please share this . We want to keep all alumni informed and reach as many of our graduates as possible.

To all of Marilyn’s friends and followers, Marilyn passed away peacefully in her sleep this morning. At this time there is no service or memorial scheduled. We have all lost a wonderful friend, teacher, coach, mentor and legend. Rest in peace🙏.
