It is official! The Farrar Green Home is a LEED Platinum home. The greenest of the green!
"USGBC is extremely pleased to approve the certification of the Farrar Green Home in Escondido, CA, USA built by Phil Gaitaud, and supported by the LEED for Homes Provider, Energy Inspectors. This project received a "LEED Platinum" rating. Congratulations!"

We have decided to apply for LEED certification. We had our first team meeting with our LEED consultant and our entire project team yesterday. We are so excited that our home looks like it will qualify for LEED Platinum, the highest LEED certification level!! To learn more about LEED check out the link below.

What a great day! Over 150 people attend our Slab Party & Green Building Open House yesterday. If you missed the fun, you can check it out on the TV news last night.
