HRRR shows some Lake Effect snow moving through the county overnight. A dusting up to 2" of accumulation possible in areas.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed Erie under a slight risk for severe weather today. While the main concern with any storms will be strong winds, other hazards like lightning and heavy rain are possible as well. We can’t rule out a funnel cloud either.

Saturday, we stay in the warm sector with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s, so expect scattered showers and a few thunderstorms during the day.
Saturday night is when things come together. The cold front moves through, bringing a more organized round of showers and thunderstorms.
