Last weekend, third graders across Erie Catholic celebrated a beautiful milestone in their faith journey: receiving their First Holy Communion.
This special sacramental year reflects a meaningful partnership between our campuses, families, and parishes as students prepare to encounter Jesus in the Eucharist and continue growing in faith each week at Mass.

Before our misses put on their dancing shoes and take the dance floor with their special Misters, we want to pause and thank the sponsors who made this night possible.
Your generosity creates the space for moments that matter, full of laughter, connection, and memories our families will stay with them for years to come!
Please join us in thanking our 2026 Mr. and Misses Dance: An Evening of Roses sponsors.

Today, we celebrate the dedicated leaders who shape our campuses, support our families, and set the tone for each campus community. We are grateful for the care, commitment, and steady leadership our principals and assistant principals bring to Erie Catholic each and every day!
Please join us in wishing Mrs. Fluegel, Mr. Ferraro, Mr. Bradish, Mrs. Ehrenreich, Mrs. Kolash, Ms. Deutsch, Mrs. Morphy, and Mrs. Brennan a happy school principal day!
📸: St. Jude School and Saint James School shared special moments of appreciation for Principal Morphy and Principal Brennan, both recognized with flowers and gratitude. At Our Lady of Peace Catholic School, students filled the halls with affirmation, covering the doors of Principal Fluegel and Assistant Principal Ferraro with messages of appreciation.

This season, Erie Catholic students had an un-bowl-lievable opportunity to participate in the Afterschool Bowling League at Greengarden Bowling Alley.
From first-time bowlers to seasoned strikers, students built skills, friendships, and confidence in a fun, supportive environment.
Bowling is one example of experiences offered at Erie Catholic to bring our students’ interests to life beyond the classroom.
🏆 Pictured: The Cool Cats—Grady and Jimmy from Our Lady of Peace Catholic School and Ben from Saint Luke School—who took first place in the younger student division!
Congratulations to all of our bowlers on a great season! 👏🏼🎳

We are deeply grateful to the Catholic Foundation of Northwest Pennsylvania for awarding Erie Catholic School System a $5,000 grant to support the development of our middle school electives library.
This funding provided stipends for our teachers to create a standardized curriculum for new elective offerings that can be shared across our campuses. Beginning next school year, students will have access to courses such as Intro to Foreign Language, World Religions, and Journalism.
We are thankful for this investment in our teachers, our curriculum, and the continued growth of opportunities for our students!

Did you know that St. Patrick is the patron saint of the Diocese of Erie? Yesterday, our students celebrated with faith, fun, and just a bit of leprechaun mischief in the classrooms!
Across our campuses, students arrived to find tiny surprises, playful pranks, and plenty of green, as our youngest learners kept a close eye out for sneaky visitors who may have stopped by overnight. From overturned chairs to mysterious footprints and glittering trails, the leprechauns certainly kept everyone on their toes!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day from all of us! May his example of faith, courage, and missionary spirit continue to guide our students, campuses, and fellow Diocesan schools. ☘️
