The GFJ 5th Grade Booster Club would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and supported our Class Trip and Class Picnic. Your generosity helped create memorable experiences and special celebrations for our students as they wrap up their elementary school years.

We would also like to recognize and thank all of the volunteers who generously gave their time and energy to help make these events a success. We truly could not have done it without your support. Thank you for helping make these moments so special for our 5th graders!

A final reminder baby photos are due! Moving up is on Monday, June 22nd, 2026

Baby Photos- used on board for the moving up ceremony. Send one baby photo ( 4X6 or 5X7… no bigger than 5X7) into school in an envelope with your child’s name, teacher, ATTN: Booster Club. This photo is to be collected by you at the conclusion of the Moving Up Ceremony! Booster Club is NOT responsible for the picture post Moving Up.

Do you want to help make your child’s 5th grade year one to remember? We are currently seeking volunteers for the 2026–2027 GFJ 5th Grade Booster Club Board!

The GFJ 5th Grade Booster Club works throughout the year to raise funds and help plan special events and celebrations for our students, including:
✨ Class Trip
🎪 Class Picnic/Carnival
🎓 Moving Up Ceremony
🎁 Special Class Gifts & Activities

This is a great opportunity to meet other parents, support our students, and help create lasting memories during this exciting milestone year.

This is a friendly reminder that all donations are due to the main office by June 3, 2026. Please ensure that all items are store-bought and clearly labeled “GFJ 5th Grade Booster Club.”

Volunteer slips are also due! Get them in!

These students had their preschool years cut short, started kindergarten in masks attending only two days a week, and life didn’t truly return to normal until halfway through these important elementary years. They missed out on field trips, school events, and many milestones along the way.

We want to give them the celebration they deserve and create lasting memories as they finish their elementary school journey. ❤️
