I’m sharing this image of pelicans flying off the Encinitas coast because they so beautifully catch the up draft from the ocean and seem to soar so effortlessly. We have so much to be thankful for. Today for me - it’s our pelicans.

Rob and I visited the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee today and we found something for everyone. Great exhibits and interpretive displays. Beautiful campus. A Packard show in the courtyard.

Here is a Cooper’s Hawk nesting in Cardiff near Crest and Wales. This bird is a protected species due to habitat degradation and the city is being responsive to this by slightly delaying construction of the new gate until the bird has fledged.
